Free Daily Ramadan 'Takjil' for Transjakarta Passengers in 10 Main Corridors

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) provides passengers with free takjil in 10 main corridors to break their fast during Ramadan.

We hope that we can feel comfortable doing activities during Ramadan

Those 10 corridors are Corridor 1 (Blok M – Kota), Corridor 2 (Pulogadung – Harmoni), Corridor 4 (Pulogadung – Tosari), Corridor 5 (Kampung Melayu Terminal – Ancol), Corridor 6 (Ragunan – Halimun), Corridor 7 (Kampung Rambutan Terminal – Kampung Melayu Terminal), Corridor 8 (Lebak Bulus – Harmoni), Corridor 9 (Plulit – Pinang Ranti), Corridor 10 (PGC – Tanjung Priok), and Corridor 13 (Ciledug – Tendean).

Transjakarta Secretary Division Head, Apriastini Bakti Bugiansri said the distribution of takjil was done to make it easier for customers who would break their fast on the way.

"Even while traveling, passengers can still break their fast as soon as possible according to the time of breaking the fast with the takjil. We hope that we can feel comfortable doing activities during Ramadan," she expressed, Wednesday (4/5).

She added the takjil is distributed before the time for breaking the fast arrived. Passengers are given mineral water and snacks that can be enjoyed as an iftar menu.

"We still call on passengers who want to break their fast to keep the environment clean and obey the rules that have been given by Transjakarta," she stated.
