FPPJ Supports City Holds Idul Fitri Prayers at City Hall

The Jakarta Concerned Youth Forum (FPPJ) supports the Jakarta Provincial Government in holding the Idul Fitri prayers at Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

It has been a tradition of leaders in Jakarta before

FPPJ Chairperson, Endriansyah said the Idul Fitri prayers would take place at Fatahillah Mosque or in the courtyard of Jakarta City Hall.

"I think it will be simpler than mobilizing residents to pray at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS)," he expressed, Tuesday (4/11).

He explained its implementation would also be easier, without the hassle of preparing facilities and infrastructure like at JIS.

"At JIS, it's more troublesome to prepare, especially if a large number of congregations are mobilized for Idul Fitri prayers there," he explained.

He added the most important of all is that the Idul Fitri prayer service can be carried out solemnly. Moreover, in terms of access, it will make it easier for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) because it is indeed located in the center or Central Jakarta.

"Idul Fitri prayers at City Hall are not the first time it has been held. It has been a tradition of leaders in Jakarta before," he stressed.
