Starting April 14, Lebak Bulus Terminal will Depart Travelers

They functioned to loosen up the density of passengers at the main terminal

Starting April 14, the Lebak Bulus Bus Terminal, South Jakarta will officially become a terminal for Idul Fitri 1444 Hijri transportation assistance which will dispatch AKAP buses for travelers.

Terminal Management Unit Head, Syamsul Mirwan said that at the same time, his party will hold a ramp check of Idul Fitri vehicles from April 14 to May 2, 2023. It would involve officers from the Jagakarsa Motor Vehicle Testing (PKG) Technical Unit, South Jakarta.

"This aims to provide a sense of safety and comfort to passengers," he expressed, Monday (4/10).

According to him, there were also two other terminals serving as backup terminals, namely Grogol and Angke terminals.

"They functioned to loosen up the density of passengers at the main terminal," he added.

Lebak Bulus Terminal Acting Head, Hilmansyah revealed to create safety and comfort for travelers, his party had prepared infrastructure including an integrated post (health unit, motor vehicle testing, and related ranks).

"There is no special preparation considering that our terminal area is very limited and we are maximizing the existing infrastructure," he exclaimed.

The regular bus fleet prepared for this year's Idul Fitri transportation ranges from 50-100 AKAP buses. All of them serve majors in various regions in West Java, Central Java, East Java, and a region of Sumatra. Such as Padang, Jambi, and Medan. Some even serve Bali and Mataram.

"On normal days, there are only around 35-40 fleets available at this terminal," he concluded.
