Seribu Islands Health Facilities Open for Service During Idul Fitri Holiday

Residents living in Seribu Islands are urged not to worry about health services during the Idul Fitri holiday.

Hopefully, health services continue to run to meet the needs of the island community

Those health services in question are community health centers, regional general hospitals (RSUD), and special district hospitals (RSKD).

Seribu Islands Health Sub-agency Head, Herwin Meifendi said that during the collective leave holiday period which starts from April 19-25, 2023, health facilities in Seribu Islands will continue to provide services to residents.

RUSD and RSKD would open for 24 hours at the Emergency Room (ER) during national holidays and open all services.

"Especially urban village health centers, we open them on the Idul Fitri holiday with picket system from 7.30 AM to 12 PM," he said, Monday (4/17).

During collective leave holidays, many residents decide to return to their hometowns but celebrate Idul Fitri on the island. Therefore, health services must operate to serve residents who need medical treatment.

"Hopefully, health services continue to run to meet the needs of the island community," he hoped.
