Area Arrangement on Kelapa Island Keeps Being Optimized

Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands keeps optimizing the arrangement of the area after being selected to be included in the Top 75 Nominations for the Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI)

We're working on it in stages

To smoothen its arrangement, Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Muslim synergizes with related regional apparatus organizations (OPD).

The arrangements made included tidying up the grass, planting ornamental plants and trees, painting the roadside walls to making gazebos and benches.

"We're working on it in stages and this has been done since last year. We are also adding a gazebo and benches for relaxing," he expressed, Monday (4/17).

Hopefully, it could be completed according to plan. Thus, during the visit of the jury team and the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry, everything had been completed and the results could be enjoyed by residents and tourists.

"It is targeted to be done after Idul Fitri. Together with the Regent, we also plan to inaugurate the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK). Hopefully, it can attract more tourists," he hoped.

Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Head, Hendri added his party was also installing the PIK Beach icon and making a gazebo. There were 12 officers deployed in this activity.

"The gazebo uses wood and we cast the poles to make it more sturdy," he stated.
