Damaged Sidewalks on Jalan Kamal Raya Cengkareng Repaired

The West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency is repairing sidewalks on Jalan Kamal Raya from Cengkareng to Kamal, Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district. It is carried out by replacing paving blocks and road kanstine blocks.

Cengkareng Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Esih Prahaningsih said the sidewalk repairs were carried out 200 meters long and one meter wide at four locations, starting from Cengkareng Traffic Light Intersection to border with Jalan Utama Raya.
"It is done because many paving blocks and kanstine blocks are damaged," she expressed, Thursday (5/4).
Poor Sidewalk on Jalan Tendean Being RepairedIt will be conducted in stages starting from the second week of Ramadan and continuing after Idul Fitri 1444 Hijri. Currently, the work is taking place at the front point of the Cengkareng Sub-district office by deploying 13 workers.
"Thus far, the progress of the work is 70 percent. If everything goes well, the work is targeted to be completed next month," she added.
Nurmala (16), a student of SMA Al Huda, Cengkareng Barat positively welcomed the repair action on Jalan Kamal Raya. By doing so, it would increase the safety and comfort of pedestrians passing through.
"I go to and from school across this sidewalk. Hopefully, this repair will further increase the safety and comfort of passing pedestrians," she stated.
