Dozens of Drug Needles Found In Tanah Tinggi

RT, RW, and locals are also worried on such drug activity

Satpol PP officers tore down 25 illegal buildings which used as a drug transaction in Tanah Tinggi Flat, Jalan Baladewa, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (3/4). During the demolishment, the officers found dozens of drug needles.

Fortunately, there was no protest from building owners.

Head of Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Abdul Hakim stated that the demolishment was based on the request of local residents in which they worried about the existence of drug circulation in their neighborhood.

“RT, RW, and locals are also worried on such drug activity," he told.

Such demolishment is getting support from the residents. "Hopefully, the young generation here are free from drugs,” exclaimed one of residents, Ahmad Abdulah Syafii.
