Interactive Park will Soon Be Built on Kelapa Dua Island

The Seribu Islands Regency administration is about to build an interactive park on Kelapa Dua Island, Kelapa Island, North Seribu Islands.

Hopefully, it will be realized soon

It is part of the superior area arrangement program, which is planned to start on June 5, 2023.

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Muslim said the superior area arrangement for the second quarter would be focused on vacant lands in RW 05 by building interactive parks.

"During the first quarter, we focused on the arrangement around the Pantai Indah Kelapa (PIK) area. Now, we're aiming at Kelapa Dua Island, thus the infrastructure there is more complete," he said, Thursday (6/1).

He explained the vacant land in the size of 5x80 meters was in an untidy and disorderly condition. Some of the land was even used by residents to become chicken coops.

"We have also looked at the conditions as well as calculated the area. If it becomes a park, the area will be even more useful for the residents," he explained.

RW 05 Chairman, Kelapa Dua Island, Musliyadi admitted he positively welcomed the work, which was deemed to increase tourism in his region.

"Hopefully, it will be realized soon, thus it can be enjoyed by residents," he stated.
