Acting Governor Heru Visits Jatinegara Sub-District Office

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono started his activities by visiting the Jatinegara Sub-district Office, East Jakarta, Wednesday (6/7).

This visit was carried out unscheduled and one could see firsthand the portrait of public services in the sub-district as they were. There were no other officials accompanying the Acting Governor in this morning's inspection.

"I asked about the licensing process and a number of other things related to public services," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta's press release.

In the visit, he greeted and interacted directly with the employees on duty in Jatinegara.

Some of the services in the Jakarta Government have started to adopt the use of digital technology. The Acting Governor requested that employees be able to help people who have not been able to use online service applications.

"Give the best service and help residents," he added.

He also reiterated the importance of valid data.

"Improve the accuracy of Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) or social assistance recipients. Optimizing DTKS Village Deliberations (Muskel) to objectively verify residents who are truly entitled to receive assistance, thus social assistance is not misdirected," he added.

Before leaving the place, he did not forget to encourage all the ranks in the Jatinegara.

"Maintain good performance and continue to improve aspects that can still be improved. Thank you for your dedication and keep up the enthusiasm in serving the needs of the community," he stated.
