35-Minute Service, Transjakarta Passengers Increase Significantly

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) served 958,756 thousand customers on June 6, 2023. This number has increased by 4.8 percent compared to May 22, 2023.

The increase in the number of Transjakarta customers occurred after the implementation of one of the 35-Minute Service corporate innovations on three routes namely Ragunan - Kuningan Timur, Pluit - Kota, and Grogol - Semanggi.

Transjakarta Operational and Safety Director, Daud Joseph said the punctuality of travel has succeeded in moving people who used to use private vehicles to a public mode of transportation, namely Transjakarta.

"By still prioritizing safety aspects, all potential obstacles along the route that extend travel time are managed with a target pattern of 35 minutes trip time," he expressed, Thursday (6/8).

Aside that, the increase in the number of Transjakarta customers is also supported by efforts to optimize other services by revitalizing bus stops that are integrated with public transportation modes and the availability of facilities that increase the convenience of Transjakarta customers.

"Transjakarta continues to make efforts and is consistent in providing maximum services that are safe and comfortable and can reach targets," he uttered.
