PT Transjakarta together with the Association of Retailers and Indonesian Shopping Center Tenants (Hippindo) held a socialization of potential cooperation at bus stops, Thursday (5/25).

Its socialization was held at the CSW integrated Bus Stop, South Jakarta attended by PT Transjakarta's Services and Development Chairperson, Lies Permana Lestari and Hippindo Director, Budihardjo Idjuansjah.

PT Transjakarta's Services and Development Chairperson, Lies Permana Lestari said his party held socialization of potential cooperation at Transjakarta bus stops to expand opportunities for retail entrepreneurs to make business with Transjakarta.

"Transjakarta has been innovating and carrying out business initiatives, where we are currently marketing naming rights products. Bus stops that are already good will be used as optimally as possible to become non-ticket revenue for the company," he expressed.

His party also gave opportunities for entrepreneurs to carry out branding on Transjakarta bus fleets and shelters.

"Because the number of Transjakarta passengers is currently 900,000 people per day. So, it's very good potential if we work with partners who will get an extraordinary exposure," he explained.

His party also provided retail space for tenants at several Transjakarta shelters that had been revitalized.

"We utilize idle areas to become retail spaces to add facilities for passengers while waiting for the bus at the Transjakarta bus stop. This is what we continue to innovate from non-subsidized income or non-fare boxes," he added.

Hoppindo Chairperson, Budihardjo Idjuansjah added his party welcomed the plan to collaborate on potential business and branding for retail entrepreneurs made by PT Transjakarta.

"We support the potential cooperation from PT Transjakarta which cooperates with retail entrepreneurs in Jakarta for mutually beneficial business development," he said.
