36,445 Ornamental Plants Beautify Jalan Halim Perdanakusuma

To welcome the upcoming city's 496th anniversary and ASEAN Summit, as many as 36,445 ornamental plants were planted on Jalan Raya Halim Perdanakusuma.

It aims to make the road more beautiful and fresher

Parks and City Forest Division Head, Atang Setiawan expressed the ornamental plants were planted on the median of the two-kilometer road starting from Halim intersection - Jakarta Cikampek toll gate to front of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport main gate.

"It aims to make the road more beautiful and fresher," he said, Monday (6/19).

Its planting was starteb by the end of May 2023 through 50 workers from Makasar, Ciracas, Kramat Jati, and Cipayung sub-districts.

The 36,445 ornamental plants planted consisted of 4,900 plants type Prety Pink, 5,510 plants type Palem Kol, 15,000 plants type Pucuk Merah, 815 plants type Philo Jari, and 10,220 plants type Philo Kuning.

"We beautify this area as it is one of the main gates in welcoming guests from ASEAN member countries," he closed.
