The building's courtyard and road area in the Jakarta City Hall complex, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan are adorned with wreaths bearing the words Jakarta's 496th Anniversary, Thursday (6/22). Bouquets of flowers seemed to keep coming since this morning.

Those wreaths are also used by ASNs and residents who visited City Hall to take selfies.

Jakarta City Hall Pamdal Officer, M Rizki Subagya expressed congratulatory wreaths for Jakarta's 496th anniversary are expected to continue arriving until noon.

"These bouquets have arrived since yesterday and maybe until noon they will continue to arrive," he expressed.

Astina, a resident who is also a Jakarta PKK cadre expressed her admiration for the decorative flower arrangements and ondel ondel on either side of the City Hall pavilion.

"Flower arrangements and ondel ondel in front of the City Hall pavilion further enlivened the celebration of Jakarta's 496th anniversary at City Hall," he stated.
