SME Bazaar Enlivens Jakarta's 496th Anniversary on Lancang Island

The Seribu Islands Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Trade and Industry Sub-agency (PPKUKM) held another SME Bazaar at Gusung Klanceng Beach, Lancang Island, Pari Island, South Seribu Islands.

It is done to enliven Jakarta's 496th anniversary and people's party

Seribu Islanda PPKUKM's SME Cooperative Division Head, Syamsul Hidayat said the SME Bazaar is held from June 22-23, 2023 and is participated by 25 entrepreneurs ranging from culinary, handicrafts, and others. There are also products from Pari Island TP PKK and cheap food products from Perumda Pasar Jaya.

"It is done to enliven Jakarta's 496th anniversary and people's party," he said, Friday (6/23).

He explained shopers were given the opportunity to take part in karaoke competitions, joint gymnastics, and get various surprises and attractive prizes.

"On the first day yesterday, our income was Rp 10,702,400. Hopefully, on the second day, we can get even more income," he stressed.

Pari Island Urban Village Head, Muhammad Adriansyah expressed his support for this event. Moreover, bazaar participants are residents who sell household products.

It is expected to boost people's income and help market their products.

"I'm very grateful because the enthusiasm of the residents is very large for this bazaar," he stated.

Norma (50), an SME entrepreneur was happy to take part in this bazaar, as her snack and snack products were sold out in one day with income by Rp 1,242,000.

"Of course, bazaars like this help increase our income," he said.
