The the flagship area arrangement for the second quarter at Jalan Pelajar RT 05/07, Grogol Utara, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta is certain to be completed this week.

Grogol Utara Urban Village Head, Sariman said the area arrangement at the location was focused on the badminton court, which is often used as a hangout for street vendors (PKL). In this action, the land would be transformed into an interactive park that residents can use.

"We rearrange the location as beautiful and comfortable as possible for local residents," he expressed, Wednesday (7/5).

He explained that the arrangement work on a land area as wide as 900 square meters was being worked on jointly with the Bina Marga Agency, Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, and South Jakarta Parks and City Forests Sub-agency. At least eight PPSU personnel are deployed per day to assist with the arrangement.

After being arranged, the flagship area could be equally guarded and cared for by the residents as well as possible.

"It has been ongoing since April 2023 and will be completed this week," he expressed.

RW 07 Chairman, Grogol Utara, Rosida felt grateful that the land that was originally abandoned and not maintained was arranged into a flagship area.

"It's great to be back doing activities with the residents in this park later," she stated.
