Heru Leads Tree Planting in Sunter Agung

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono symbolically planted trees at the arrangement site of Jalan Agung Perkasa 8, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Friday (7/7).

We planted the land with hundreds of trees for greening

There were 100 trees type tabebuya kuning planted in a 3,263-square-meter land. Reportedly, the land was crowded with illegal buildings but the control process was already underway in 2019. Besides being planted with trees, it was also completed with a jogging track.

"These buildings are illegal and then controlled already. Now, we planted the land with hundreds of trees for greening," he expressed.

Heru Joins Tree Planting Action with Children with Disabilities

He instructed the North Jakarta administration to clean up the river around the area arrangement location for fish empowerment.

"I asked for the river to be cleaned as possible for a trial run for fish and water hyacinth cultivation," he expressed.

He added the Jakarta Provincial Government is currently intensively implementing regional management in each administrative city for the better environment.

"The important thing is that we can plant trees every week in five areas. Places that are not good to see we tidy up and then plant trees," he stated.
