Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono symbolically planted 60 trees type Ketapang Kencana in the JT 20 area, precisely on the 296-meter-long land, Jalan Pulomas Selatan, Kayu Putih Urban Village, Pulogadung Sub-district, East Jakarta, Tuesday (7/11).

He appreciated all elements of society who supported the greening program and structuring the area for a better environment.

"Thank you for the support from the community, LMK, and locals who have helped to reforest and restore the areas along the IKIP Connecting Channel thus it can be green again," he expressed.

Besides planting trees, the land is also equipped with a jogging track that residents can use for light exercise.

"Jogging tracks are being arranged, thus residents can enjoy busy Saturdays and Sundays which can be used for sports," he stated.
