Gandaria Selatan Residents Enjoy Cheap Subsidized Food

Some 450 residents enjoyed the subsidized cheap food program held at RPTRA Bahari, Jalan Bahari Raya, RW 07, Gandaria Selatan, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Wednesday (7/12).

Person in Charge of Subsidized Cheap Food Program, Rosalina said subsidized cheap food was distributed today, as it had not been implemented last month due to budget amendment.

"Recipients of cheap food this time were limited in each urban village. Only those with DTKS records," she expressed.

She explained the quota for cheap food at Bahari RPTRA totaled 450 recipients with details of 300 KJP holders, elderly, disabled, dasawisma, and pre-employment cards. The remaining 150 people were PJLP employees for Gandaria Selatan Urban Village.

In this cheap food, the price of one kilogram of chicken meat was Rp 8,000, tray containing 15 chicken eggs Rp 10,000, one-kilogram frozen beef Rp 35,000, one carton of UHT milk Rp 30,000, and five-kilogram rice Rp 30,000.

"My hope is this program can be a routine agenda and the number of beneficiary quotas should be added," she hoped.

Yeni, a resident of RT 05/01, Gandaria Selatan uttered this cheap food was very much awaited considering the prices of basic commodities that were sold below market prices.

"Thank you to the government that continues to make it easy for us to get nutritious food," he admitted.
