150 Joint Personnel Clean Halim Perdanakusuma Reservoir

As many as 150 joint personnel of PPSU, Water Body UPK, Satpol PP, and Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) join cleanup action at Halim Perdanakusuma Reservoir, Makasar Sub-district, East Jakarta, Friday (7/21).

Today's focus is cleaning water hyacinth, weeds and trash

They are seen cleaning up water hyacinth and wild plants in the reservoir.

Halim Perdanakusuma Urban Village Head, Wahyu Setiawan said the cleanup action is done to follow up on locals' report from CRM application, as well as to keep the reservoir clean and able to accommodate high water discharge during heavy rains.

Dredging Work at Rawa Buaya Reservoir Completed

"Today's focus is cleaning water hyacinth, weeds and trash," he expressed.

Halim Perdana Kusuma Urban Village Satpol PP Task Force Head, Rifani said eight pick-up trucks belonging to the UPK Water Agency and four PPSU motorbike carts were deployed to transport the garbage.

"We'll keep working together to prevent inundation during the rainy season in RW 02 and 03 Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, which are located next to the reservoir," he closed.
