The Acting Governor encouraged stakeholders and other private sides in Jakarta to participate in supporting the reforestation program through planting in various locations.

"This is for beautification, thus it is shady and absorbs water. I ask all stakeholders in Jakarta to be involved in planting trees anywhere. Today, SBI and Indocement are participating in greening Jakarta," he expressed, Friday (7/21).

According to him, the Kampung Rambutan Dua Reservoir construction aims to control the flow rate of Cipinang River, improve the water catchment area, serve as a water reserve during the dry season, conserve, and add blue open spaces as well as spaces for public interaction in Jakarta.

"This reservoir is one of the flood control reservoirs out of a total of 12 reservoirs in East Jakarta. It controls the discharge of Cipinang River. There is also a wastewater treatment plant or WWTP near the location, thus the water entering the reservoir is clear and clean," he stated.
