The activity held in commemoration of National Children's Day (HAN) 2023 was attended by more than 100 participants from students to teachers.
It presented several speakers such as the wife of Investment Ministry, Sri Suparni Bahlil as Advisor to Literacy Team; Jakarta Library and Archive Agency (Dispusip) Head, Firmansyah; School Counseling Guidance Association (IBKS) Head, Tuti Sukarni, CS Life Advisor, Cut Ema; and IPDG Lions Club Jakarta Monas Kalingga, Cut Syahrain Arifin; and CS Kehidupan, Aladin.
Sylviana: Jakarta is Seriously Facing Demographic BonusBy initiating the idea with the light of the art of life organization, the Senator Sylviana took the momentum of HAN 2023 to prepare for potential demographic bonuses in 2030 and at the same time realize Indonesia Emas (Gold) in 2045.
"According to our theme today, I would like to invite the children here to have the courage to speak, chat, and communicate in front of their friends and guests, regarding any problems or questions they have, especially regarding education and the environment in which they live," she expressed, Sunday (7/23).
She also conveyed the role of parents in giving children the opportunity to dialogue or communicate, no matter how busy they are. Thus, problems in children can be found solutions based on their experiences.
With good synergy between people's representatives, Jakarta Provincial Government, private sector and parents, it is hoped that children could develop more in terms of positive thinking and behavior in any conditions and circumstances.
"Thank God, I'm grateful that in this momentum all are fully present in providing knowledge that children do not get at school and sharing extraordinary life experiences," she added.
Jakarta Library and Archive Agency Head, Firmansyah appreciated the activity. The reason was it could lift the younger generation, especially students who were present at this time to have the courage to talk about the conditions of the educational environment and the environment in which they live.
He added the young generation plays an important role in the development of Jakarta. In the future, his agency will further facilitate the young generation to obtain more information through libraries that are scattered everywhere.
"We'll invite all related stakeholders, like Jakarta Government, literacy activists, and private sector to jointly build a more advanced library," he closed.
