Jalan Iskandar Muda Being Beutified Ahead of ASEAN Summit and Indepedence Day's 78th Anniversary

The ranks of Kebayoran Lama Urban Village, Kebayoran, South Jakarta are beutifying Jalan Iskandar Muda. Efforts to improve the aesthetics of this area are carried out as a form of support for holding the ASEAN Summit and welcoming Indonesia Independence Day's 78th Anniversary.

We send 15 PPSU personnel to make murals there

Kebayoran Lama Selatan Urban Village Head, Erwan said the area beutification was done by making murals.

"We made murals of the flags of ASEAN Summit member countries, Betawi cultural figures, and Jakarta icons," he expressed, Monday (7/24).

He explained the mural making at a 300-meter-long location on both sides of the road has been started since last week and is targeted to be completed the day after tomorrow.

"We send 15 PPSU personnel to make murals there," he explained.

It was expected to create an area that is beautiful and pleasing to the eye, as well as comfortable for passing road users.

"My message is for all road users and residents to take care and not do vandalism or scribbles that we have beautified in this area," he stressed.
