Acting Governor Holds Gathering with Media Crews Again

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono returned to meet journalists on duty at City Hall and Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD), Friday (7/28).

It was also attended by assistants, inspectors, and SKPD heads while answering strategic issues and straightening out news circulating in the community.

Journalists had the opportunity to ask questions with the Acting Governor accompanied by food and drinks. Some of the issues published include those related to Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), social assistance, transportation, and public spaces.

"The local government's duty is a noble task to provide comfort for residents. Media is part of the Jakarta Government. The Jakarta Government needs the media, we establish good communication," he expressed.

He ensured that Jakarta ASN, including himself was committed to work as much as possible. Hopefully, the media could provide correct and appropriate information to the public, thus it does not confuse.

"All questions will be answered. The Jakarta Government wants to do well," he added.

City Secretary, Joko Agus Setyono uttered criticism and suggestions from the media were needed, thus the services provided by the Jakarta Government were optimal and the community felt the benefits. Therefore, this kind of event needs to be held regularly.

“This meeting can be held periodically. So, we can share an explanation of what the Jakarta Government is doing to provide the best service to the community," he stated.
