Central Jakarta Administration continues to reduce air pollution in Central Jakarta with various ways. One of them is by holding car free day on Jalan Suryopranoto, Gambir, Central Jakarta, which falls on Sunday (3/15). The event will be started at 6-11 AM, starting from from Harmoni intersection-Cideng Timur intersection.
"This Sunday, we're going to hold car free day on Jalan Suryopranoto," said Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede, Friday (3/13).
Car Free Day in Central Jakarta ExpandedPardede disclosed, the event is only focused on Jalan Letjen Suprapto because many lanes should be closed on the road, thus it cannot be sterile from motor vehicles.
"Moreover, people’s enthusiasm around Jalan Suryopranoto is very remarkable," he uttered.
