As Jakarta residents, we know that the implementation of the car free day is only held along Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Cempaka Putih, yet it Central Jakarta Administration will expanded it to other locations in the future.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede disclosed the car free day will routinely held once a month on the third week. Its implementation aims to improve air quality for the better.

"This is the first in 2015 and will be an annual agenda," he told, on the sidelines of the car free day, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Sunday (2/22).

He uttered, in future, the event is slated to be held in other locations. By so, the locals can conduct various positive activities, such as fun bike, jogging, and play football.

"We're still finding the right location and planned to be staged along Jalan Suryopranoto," he told.

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the car free day located along Jalan Letjen Suprapto was held at 6-11 AM. Hundreds of people have enlivened the event through some activities, such as fun bike, jogging, and football.
