DPRD Supports Jakarta Government to Implement WFH for 50 Percent Employees

I also invite employees who will take part in the ceremony to use mass transportation

Jakarta Legisative Council (DPRD) Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, popularly called Pras is about to implement 50 percent Work From Home (WFH) for two months ahead. This step was taken in addressing the problem of air pollution in Jakarta.

"We will talk with the Acting Governor to take quick steps and the right attitude, namely 50 percent WFH for employees in the work environment of Jakarta Provincial Government and DPRD," he expressed, after he received civil society groups that are members of the Capital City Coalition at City Council Building, Wednesday (8/16).

According to him, it is a fast and precise policy.

"So after I spoke to the governor, we support 50 percent WFH," he said.

He also asked the city and regency governments that support Jakarta to be actively involved in responding to air pollution conditions.

He also encouraged employees under the Jakarta Government to wear masks while attending the commemoration ceremony for Indonesia Independence Day's 78th Anniversary at Monas on Thursday (8/17).

"I also invite employees who will take part in the ceremony to use mass transportation," he stated.
