Ahead of Congress, Marullah Emphasizes Importance of Betawian People Unity

"Our focus today is these four islands. There are several that we visit such as Fort Martello, a former hospital building and a former pilgrimage quarantine building and other sites," he said, Wednesday (8/23).

His party had noted what needs to be done to preserve the cultural richness of the four islands.

"The need for protection is needed, even though it has passed through revitalization. We'll also involve related agencies to plant productive trees or ornamental plants," he explained.

He added that the Jakarta Provincial Government would give important attention to these four cultural heritage islands. One of them was carrying out renovations that are being carried out.

"Today, we see what has been and will be done. This is our way of preserving cultural heritage," he stated.
