Dengue Cases in West Jakarta Decline to 736

The West Jakarta Health Sub-agency has noted as many as 736 dengue fever cases attacked West Jakarta from January to August 2023.

This number fluctuates, but tends to decline

West Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Erizon Safari expressed that the data on dengue fever cases in West Jakarta resulted from a recapitulation of dengue fever cases from health centers, hospitals, and other hospitals.

"This number fluctuates, but tends to decline," he expressed, Thursday (9/7).

Of 736 cases, 132 were detected in January, 94 were in February, 105 were in March, 125 were in April, 95 were in May, 80 were in June, 66 were in July, and 39 were in August.

"This decline in dengue cases is not separated from the massive socialization to the public by Jumantik officers, health centers, and hospitals. One of them is with 3M procedure mengubur (bury), menguras (drain), and menutup (cover)," he stated.
