The Central Jakarta Government launched the Jakarta Bergerak Atasi Stunting dan TBC (Beraksi) program "Jakarta In Action to Overcome Stunting and Tuberculosis" on Jalan Mardani Raya, RT 01/05, Cempaka Putih Barat, Cempaka Putih.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma said Jakarta Beraksi is a form of ecosystem development for handling stunting cases involving the private sector through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

“We have handled stunting through foster parents, which is the Indonesian Buddhist Women's Association," he expressed, Friday (9/8).

Generally, intervention programs carried out against stunting resulted in a decrease in the number of cases.

"The key is that we have handled stunting together by involving all sectors," he said.

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Head, Fauzi added it is the result of mediation from the BKKBN in handling stunting.

"There are 20 children who will be given Supplementary Feeding (PMT) for the next 90 days," he explained.

He added the 20 toddlers had previously received an intervention program which was then continued by the Indonesian Buddhist Women's Association.

"Hopefully, this program makes them healthier and the Cempaka Putih District's dream of zero stunting can be realized," he hoped.
