Hopefully, it could make pedestrians more comfortable and safe and effectively parse traffic jams at Tanah Abang Market.
Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Tumbur Parluhutan Purba added it was focused on Jalan Kebon Jati in front of the Block G Market and Jalan Jati Baru Raya, Jalan Jati Baru Kapal Api, Taman Jati Baru Bengkel, and Tanah Abang Jaklingko Station.
As a result, personnel managed to seize 67 items belonging to street vendors in the form of plastic chairs, carts, iron tables, conductors, umbrellas, drink boxes, and gadget accessory poles.
"Our hope is people will be aware that sidewalk occupation is not permitted and that there are regulations that everyone must obey," he asserted.
