Motor Vehicle Tax Revenue in East Jakarta Reaches Rp 2.1 Trillion

Revenue from the motorized vehicle tax (PKB) and vehicle-ownership transfer fees (BBNKB) in East Jakarta has now reached Rp 2.1 trillion or around 70 percent of the target set at Rp 3.1 trillion.

This letter is to remind taxpayers to pay them immediately

East Jakarta Motor Vehicle Tax Collection Service Unit (UP3KB) Head, Alberto Ali expressed, to achieve 100 percent achievement by the end of the year, he had implemented various strategies. It included distributing 8,000 letters of advice to motor vehicle taxpayers.

The letter was handed over to East Jakarta Mayor Muhammad Anwar, Thursday (9/21), to be distributed to sub-district and urban village heads to be forwarded to taxpayers who are in arrears.

Local Tax Revenue in West Jakarta Touches 44.63 Percent

According to him, it was the second handover of 8,000 letters of appeal. Previously, 2,000 letters of appeal were submitted.

"This letter is to remind taxpayers to pay them immediately. Maybe they forgot, that's why we remind them again through the letter. Hopefully, it will boost 2023 tax revenues," he explained, Friday (9/22).

By the end of the year, the target for obtaining East Jakarta PKB and BBN-KB could be achieved 100 percent.

"Hence, we need the support of the Mayor of East Jakarta and his staff, thus the target of 100 percent PKB and BBN-KB taxes is achieved," he stated.
