Area Arrangement on Jalan Sa'bah Reaches 95 Percent

The area arrangement in residential areas of Jalan Sa'bah, RT 09/06, Karet Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta has reached 95 percent

Karet Kuningan Urban Village Economic and Development Section Head, Ziyad said his party would transform the alley into a park with a Betawi nuance. Previously, it was occupied by illegal parking and mechandise belongs to street vendors (PKL).

"This is done to follow up on locals' complaint, where the location was slum," he expressed, Tuesday (9/26).

It was focused on the 50-meter-long alley on the right and left sides by creating Betawi culture-themed murals. Various types of plants are also planted at the location using a hydroponic system.

It involved five PPSU personnel and was targeted to be completed by the end of this month. Hopefully, the area could be maintained and used by locals for positive activities.

"The work progress has touched 95 percent," he stated.
