819 Street Vendors in S. Jakarta Already Have AutoDebet Card

As much as 819 street vendors in South Jakarta already used a levy payment system through autodebet.

“819 street vendors have used the autodebet card. Right now, there are 900 street vendors proposing it,” said Head of South Jakarta Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Sub-Department, Indro Martono, Friday (3/20).

1,157 Street Vendors in W. Jakarta Use Autodebet

 

According to Indro, those vendors are spread in 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta. But most of them located in temporary shelters. “Some are in temporary shelters and others are illegal. Even though they are illegal, but do not disturb public order,” he uttered.

 

For temporary shelters, are consisting JS 09 Pujasera in Kuningan, JS Bird Seller on Jalan Barito, and Pujasera in Block S. “The While for the florists along Jalan Dharmawangsa are including illegal,” he said.

 

Such autodebet card use is give a good benefit to the city Administration and vendors. Besides minimizing risk of levy leakage, they do not have to pay illegal levies amounted to Rp 3,000 per day.

 

“No more illegal levies. The vendors just insert money in the account and automatically processed through autodebet when the payment due date is coming," he finished.
