Bank DKI Wins Best BUMD Awards 2023

Bank DKI was named one of the Best Regional Development Banks (BPD) 2023 by the Home Ministry (Kemendagri) in the Best BUMD Awards 2023.

Bank DKI succeeded in receiving an award as Rank II Regional Development Bank in the 'Big Category' and competed directly with other best BPDs in Indonesia.

Bank DKI Acting President Director, Amirul Wicaksono said the award received was a valuable appreciation for Bank DKI's efforts and dedication in playing an active role in improving the optimization of public services and supporting economic growth in Jakarta.

"Implementing business strategies and technological innovation is a concrete step for Bank DKI to give the best service to the community, as well as playing an active role in advancing the regional economy through support for the Jakarta Provincial Government's work program as the controlling shareholder of Bank DKI," he expressed, Tuesday (10/3).

He explained Bank DKI's support for various Jakarta Government programs includes the distribution of social assistance such as the distribution and management of the accounts for Jakarta Smart Card, Jakarta Superior Student Card, Jakarta Elderly Card, Dasawisma Card, and Jakarta Worker Card.

Aside that, through the products and services owned by Bank DKI, it also seeks to provide convenience for the people of Jakarta, for example, JakCard as a prepaid smart card that can be used as a means of payment on various integrated modes of public transportation in Jakarta, access to entrance tickets to a number of museums and tourist attractions managed by the Jakarta Government, to the payment of certain toll roads.

"Bank DKI also facilitates the payment of taxes and levies through features in the JakOne Mobile application, as well as motor vehicle taxes using the Samsat Online Delivery or Si-Ondel application, which is also connected to the JakOne Mobile application," he explained.

Bank DKI Secretary, Arie Rinaldi assessed the award received would also be an additional encouragement for Bank DKI in carrying out its duties as a BPD that supports the development of Jakarta as a competitive and sustainable economic center.

As for information, the BUMD Awards 2023 are an appreciation given by the Home Ministry to BUMDs with the best performance, especially their role in improving public services, handling inflation, and economic growth.

Previously, Regional Financial Development Director General, Agus Fatoni said that the aim of holding the BUMD Awards by the Home Ministry was to provide an assessment of BUMDs, in the form of governance, creating a competitive climate between BUMDs, and providing motivation to regional governments in providing guidance to BUMDs.
