SAPA 129 Service Post Opened at Borobudur RPTRA

The Central Jakarta administration and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA), opened the integrated Sahabat Perempuan dan Anak (SAPA) 129 service posts in the Borobudur Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Pegangsaan, Menteng.

Central Jakarta Administration and People's Welfare Assistant, Muhammad Reza Pahlevi expressed the SAPA service post initiated by the PPPA Ministry is full support for women and children

"We fully support this service post, as it can make women and children feel more protected," he expressed, Thursday (10/5).

He explained the SAPA 129 service is a complaint against women and children that can be accessed directly by the public.

"So, if people see acts of violence against women and children, they can immediately contact this service," he explained.

PPPA Ministry Special Staff, I Gusti Agung Putri Astrid Kartika uttered that the SAPA 129 service was inaugurated in 2021. In 2022, the service received complaints of 2,346 cases related to women and 957 cases of children who needed special protection.

"The public can report directly what they see or experience. If you want to get information, immediately contact SAPA 129 at number 08111129129," she explained.

According to her, it is part of the government's efforts to make it easier for residents who need protection from cases of violence against women and children.

It was hoped that this would provide a faster response regarding complaint reports that required special and fast handling.

"The more we provide fast service, the more people will trust the government," he stated.
