PPPA Ministry Special Staff, I Gusti Agung Putri Astrid Kartika uttered that the SAPA 129 service was inaugurated in 2021. In 2022, the service received complaints of 2,346 cases related to women and 957 cases of children who needed special protection.

According to her, it is part of the government's efforts to make it easier for residents who need protection from cases of violence against women and children.
It was hoped that this would provide a faster response regarding complaint reports that required special and fast handling.
"The more we provide fast service, the more people will trust the government," he stated.
