City Gives Zero Percent BBNKB Incentive until the End of 2023

The Jakarta administration gives fiscal incentives in the form of a vehicle-ownership transfer fee (BBNKB) policy by 0%, specifically for second and subsequent deliveries, valid from October 10, 2023, to December 31, 2023.

Thereby, up-to-date motor vehicle ownership data will be obtained

It is following Gubernatorial Regulation Number 29/2023 on Regional Tax Incentives in the form of Imposition of 0% for BBNKB for second and subsequent deliveries.

Jakarta Regional Revenue Board (BPD) Head, Lusiana Herawati expressed the regulation was issued to regulate motor vehicle ownership data in Jakarta and to encourage taxpayers to register or report the transfer of motor vehicle ownership.

"Thereby, up-to-date motor vehicle ownership data will be obtained," she expressed, Tuesday (10/10).

The contents of the fiscal incentive policy and the facilities provided are as follows:

a) Zero Percent BBNKB Incentive for Vehicles for Second Handover and subsequent deliveries is given ex-officio without the need for the Taxpayer to submit an application (granted automatically by the system)

b) Automatic elimination of administrative sanctions in the form of interest and/or fines owed on BBNKB objects

c) Concerning BBNKB for second-hand delivery of vehicles and subsequent ones that have been paid before the enactment of this Gubernatorial Regulation, no application can be submitted for a refund of the excess payment of Regional Tax

d) BBNKB incentive for vehicles for second handover and subsequent deliveries is valid from October 10 to December 31.

She urged the public to take advantage of the zero percent BBNKB incentive for this second and subsequent deliveries.

"This has a positive impact on society, namely helping to complete their tax obligations," she stated.
