60 Personnel Deployed to Control Traffic Flow around KPU Building

Some 60 personnel of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency has been deployed to manage traffic flow accessed to the General Election Commission (KPU) Building, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Menteng.

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Anwar said his personnel were alerted at Jalan Proklamasi and Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro.

He explained that while on duty in the field, the personnel were provided with operational vehicles which were deployed from 6 AM.
"We help clear up traffic jams. If there is a new traffic diversion, our team will move. Basically, we're waiting for developments in the field," he explained.
He hoped that it could control traffic flow in the Menteng area and its surrounding areas.
"I hope drivers remain safe and comfortable," he said.
