Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi attended the Cross-Sectoral Coordination Meeting with the agenda of discussing security preparations for the Election 2024.

The meeting attended by more than 100 participants was held at the Mitra Praja Sunter Building, North Jakarta.
According to Junaedi, his party would continue to improve communication and coordination, thus the elections in the Seribu Islands region could be successful and safe.

According to him, elections on the mainland and islands have marked differences because several challenges need to be taken into account, such as weather and transportation.
"Through this meeting, we can face the challenges that will arise in the future. We're always ready to provide full support," he asserted.
Seribu Islands Resort Police Chief, AKBP Jarot Sungkowo explained the coordination meeting was held to equalize perceptions and align plans and actions that would be taken in facing the forthcoming elections.
"We also prepare all needs, starting from command posts, security and social security, and others. So, we can anticipate various threats," he explained.
His party had also conducted training for personnel in securing election logistics distribution. The personnel were also trained to promote a humanist attitude in a bid to minimize the potential for conflict during this democratic party.
"In this security, we also synergize with Dandim, Kajari, BIN, KSOP, SAR, and other work partners," he added.
Seribu Islands Regency KPU Chairman, Iman Cahyadi added that in his region, there were 88 polling stations (TPS), consisting of 80 regular polling stations and eight special polling stations with a total of 22,036 voters.
The election logistics production and distribution process will take place from November 2023 to February 2024.
