North Jakarta PBB-P2 Realization Hits 89.43 Percent

Up to October 17, 2023, the realization of urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2) 2023 revenue in North Jakarta was recorded as having reached Rp 2,050 trillion or 89.43 percent of the target set at Rp 2,292 trillion.

In total, there are 757 letters of appeal for PBB-P2 repayment which are distributed to them (taxpayers)

North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Local Revenue Sub-agencies Head, Budianto said he keeps optimizing local tax revenues. One of them is by distributing the North Jakarta Mayor's Appeal Letter to Taxpayers who have yet to meet their obligations, through urban village and sub-district officials.

"In total, there are 757 letters of appeal for PBB-P2 repayment which are distributed to them (taxpayers)," he expressed, Friday (10/20).

His party has also been intensifying outreach to taxpayers since early October through various media to face to face.

In total PBB-P2 revenue from six sub-districts, the highest achievement was achieved by Koja Sub-district with a realization by Rp 420 billion or 101.3 percent of the target by Rp 414 billion. As for the PBB-P2 revenue realization from five other sub-districts was still between 83-96 percent.

Hopefully, the appeal letter delivered door to door by sub-district officials would speed up the realization of the revenue target at the end of December.

"We have also started putting stickers on NOPs that are three years in tax arrears. If the tax is still not paid, we'll confiscate the NOP assets," he asserted.

North Jakarta Samsat Unit Acting Head, Risano Wiryawan explained his party continues to optimize the motorized vehicle tax (PKB) and vehicle-ownership transfer fees (BBNKB). Therefore, he also entrusted the same letter to urban village and sub-district apparatuses.

Based on data collected up to October 17, it was recorded that the realization of PKB had reached Rp 1.3 trillion or 76.49 percent of the target by Rp 1.7 trillion. Then the realization of BBNKB in 2023 will be around Rp 1.010 trillion or 87.49 percent of the target by Rp 1.155 trillion.

"In total, there are 5,000 advice letters for Not Yet Re-Registered (BDU) which we handed over for distribution to urban village and sub-district apparatuses to taxpayers," he finished.
