Soon! Urban Farming Festival 2023 at Jakarta City Hall

The Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agricultural Agency (KPKP) is about to hold the Urban Farming Festival 2023 from October 30 to November 1.

We open a quota of 30 participants

It is slated to be held at Block G, Jakarta City Hall. There will be various technical guidance activities and competitions.

Jakarta KPKP Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati expressed the theme of this event was 'Together to Realize Food Security in Jakarta'.

In the event, his agency would hold technical guidance on the cultivation of melons, grapes, hydroponics, flower arrangments, as well as the processing of papaya and roselle flowers.

"We also hold competitions including mixing coffee drinks for vocational school students and the equivalent, making fresh vegetable hampers, photography, sansiviera, and aglaonema ornamental plants," she expressed, Monday (10/23).

It is open to the public and urban farming activists in Jakarta. Residents who want to take part in technical guidance and competitions can register via the link bit.ly/LombaFestivalUF2023 which has been open from October 22 - 26.

"We open a quota of 30 participants for five technical guidance activities and three competitions. Meanwhile, a special coffee brewing competition for beginners will involve 15 participants," he stated.
