Another prevention effort is through massive outreach and education to prevent illness in three ways, namely a clean and healthy lifestyle, wearing a mask, and washing hands with running water and soap. Then avoid skin contact and wounds.
He added that every close contact is monitored for symptoms every day by the sub-district health center. If there are symptoms, a laboratory examination is carried out.
"Respond, in anticipation of massively breaking the chain of transmission, every positive case is immediately isolated in hospital even if the case is mild," he added.
