Jakarta Bapenda Vice Head, Bapak Elvarinsa said that to help ease motor vehicle tax payments, Jakarta residents can take advantage of regional tax incentives in the form of eliminating administrative sanctions for PKB - vehicle-ownership transfer tax (BBNKB), which are valid from October 10 to December 30, 2023.
According to him, the Jakarta administration also provides regional tax incentives in the form of charging zero percent for BBNKB for second and subsequent vehicles (second-hand vehicles).

Previously, the North Jakarta Samsat Development Team carried out activities to control motor vehicle approvals last Monday (10/30) on Jalan Yos Sudarso to Plumpang, North Jakarta.
This activity took the form of controlling the annual validation of STNKs and collecting Jakarta motor vehicle tax for traffic users passing on Jalan Yos Sudarso and targeting all drivers, either two- or four-wheeled vehicles.
"This collaboration with Polda Metro Jaya is to encourage the public to be more orderly in managing the administration of their motorized vehicles," she explained.
He urged all the people of Jakarta to support this program so that the administration of annual STNK validation, motor vehicle taxation, and orderly administration of motor vehicles can run better.
