Relocations from Kampung Bayam to Nagrak Rusunawa Continues to Increase

The number of ex-Kampung Bayam residents who have agreed to be relocated to the Nagrak Subsidized Flats (Rusunawa), Cilincing Urban Village, North Jakarta, continue to show an increase.

Of course, by living here, we can save more

Flats Management Unit Service Executing Unit (UPPRS) Region III Head, Faisal Rahman said that until early October 2023, his party had facilitated the relocation of 20 families of ex-Kampung Bayam in the Nagrak Rusunawa. In early November, there were about 15 families relocated.

"Until now, we still open opportunities for residents of ex-Kampung Bayam to relocate to the Nagrak Rusunawa," he said, Thursday (11/9).

Health Facilities in Nagrak Rusunawa will Be Added Soon

He explained the additional 15 families had begun to occupy their units in Tower 3 of the Nagrak Rusunawa. Similar to previous residents, they would also not be charged unit rental fees.

"They only pay water and electricity rates according to usage via Bank DKI auto debit," he asserted.

One of the ex-Kampung Bayam residents, Jeliana Siagian admitted that relocation facilities at Nagrak Rusunawa are the best option while waiting for confirmation of their fate.

"Of course, by living here, we can save more," he admitted.
