Draft APBD 2024 Approved, Heru Optimizes Work Programs for the Community

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, expressed the final opinion on the Draft Bylaw (Raperda) on City Budget (APBD) 2024. The draft was approved by the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD).

According to him, the work program that had been prepared was in the community's interest.

"Thank you and high appreciation to the leadership and members of the Jakarta council for your thoroughness, thoroughness, and sincerity in observing and reviewing all the material substance of this draft bylaw.

"Various suggestions, comments, and recommendations from the council submitted during the process of discussing, finalizing, and approving this bylaw will be used as important notes for us to follow up on," he expressed, during the Plenary Meeting at Jakarta DPRD Building, Thursday (11/16 ).

He emphasized that with the approval of the APBD 2024, the synergy between the legislative and the executive is expected to keep being strengthened. He also focused and optimized various strategic work programs that were useful for the interests of society.

"In the future, we must continuously strengthen the partnerships and synergies that have been made proportionally and professionally. All programs and activities are expected to run according to plan," he expressed, as quoted by the Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.

Lastly, he hoped that Jakarta could continue to grow into a global-scale business center in 2024. He also hoped the simultaneous democratic party next year could run smoothly and conducively.

"Hopefully, God will smoothen every intention and good performance of us together to make Jakarta a national strategic area and a global scale business center. Jakarta is also expected to be resilient, and transit-based digital in the future," he closed.
