Acting Governor Heru Appreciates Synergy with KADIN

The Jakarta Provincial Government keeps trying to realize the transformation of the City of Jakarta on a global scale and to be competitive. That is by collaborating with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).

Several supporting factors are needed for a global scale city

The statement above was stated by Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono when he opened the Provincial Executive Meeting IV 2023, Jakarta KADIN, at Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday (11/21).

He explained several supporting factors for creating a global scale city.

"Several supporting factors are needed for a global scale city, including a strong and globally connected economy, good research and innovation capacity, comfortable space to live in, attractiveness for tourists, a clean, comfortable and sustainable environment, as well as good accessibility intra- and inter-city," he expressed, in the Jakarta Provincial Government's press release.

He emphasized that all elements of society, especially the Jakarta KADIN, could play an active role in strengthening the database and providing input on the formulation of economic policies that could answer global market needs.

"Appreciation to the management and members of the Jakarta KADIN who have pushed the progress of entrepreneurs in Jakarta so far. Thank you for contributing to efforts to preserve the environment and sustainable development of the City of Jakarta," he expressed.

Hopefully, the Jakarta KADIN Rapimprov IV 2023 could produce work programs that could support Jakarta's transformation into a global city.

"Thank you to all entrepreneurs who help us, that Jakarta continues to survive in handling inflation. Once again, thank you because Jakarta is still surviving, and this is also a contribution from KADIN colleagues," he stated.
