In Seribu Islands, the cases were still small, but it was necessary to watch out for them and prevent their spread.

"Based on the latest data as of December 15, in the Seribu Islands region there were only three cases of People Without Symptoms (OTG) status and those with mild symptoms. Currently they have been declared cured," he said, Wednesday (20/12).

According to him, this new variant of Covid-19 was not as stressful as before. Remember, patients could recover quickly and become healthy again once their body's immune system was normal.

However, the public was urged to continue implementing PHBS and using masks when sick with flu or when in crowds or risky public places.

"Hopefully, the public will complete vaccinations and maintain their health," he stated.
