Inundation in Two RWs of Kembangan Selatan Totally Recede

The inundation at RT 06 and 13, RW 03 also RT 04 and 05 RW 09 of Kembangan Selatan Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district have receded fully, Sunday (1/7). The inundation was caused by heavy rain on Saturday (1/6) from afternoon until evening. Moreover, Pesanggrahan River also overflowed.

Now the residents have go back to their houses

Kembangan Selatan Urban Village Head, Danang Putra said the inundation reached 40-100 cm. It caused local residents to take refugee.

"Now the residents have go back to their houses," he said, Sunday (1/7).

He added that the inundation at RW 01 also receded from 100 cm to 30-60 cm. But none of local residents take refugee.

"The inundation at RW 01 is not completely receded since the Angke River water level remains high, and we can not use mobile pump because of that," he added.

Syamsul (55), one of local residents, admitted the water started to inundated on Saturday (1/6) at 5 PM.

"Water level at Pesanggrahan River is now declining so the water here were able to be pumped to the river," he admitted.
