6,784 Seribu Island Residents Have Applied IKD

Seribu Island Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency noted that 6,784 people in Seribu Island have registered Digital Population Identity (IKD).

The process remains running even though the national target is 25 percent

Sub-agency Head, Ginanjar, said the registration remain running. His personnel also visit the residents to speed up the registration process.

"The process remains running even though the national target is 25 percent. Last year, we reached 129 percent by 6,789 people," he said, Wednesday (1/10).

Dinsos Trains 1,157 MSMEs During 2023

According to him, if the national target is 25 percent, it means 5,251 people out of 21,004 people have been registered.

"This year target is 1,200 people to be registered," he added.

He explained that 1,491 people in Tidung Island have registered IKD. Next are Harapan Island by 633 people, Pari Island by 829 people, Kelapa Island by 1,622 people, Untung Jawa by 576 people, and Panggang Island by 1,593 people.

"This application eases resident to save data of ID card, family card, and so on," he explained.

Ginanjar continued that IKD application can be downloaded from Play Store and App Store. Next steps are completing the data and doing face verification.

"The app needs verification and validation. It means our personnel must accompany the process. The residents are able to visit our office, sub-district, and urban village offices too," he closed.
