Dinsos Trains 1,157 MSMEs During 2023

The Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) has trained 1,157 MSMEs (Jakpreneurs) during 2023. This number is in line with the target 2023.

Hopefully, next year, it will continue to increase and their products will be better known

Jakarta Dinsos Head, Premi Lasari said the trained Jakpreneurs took part in various training and outreach activities during 2023 in synergy with various stakeholders ranging from culinary training, financial reports, branding and brand building, product photography, and packaging design to digital marketing.

"We're also trying to encourage more of them (Jakpreneurs) to enter the licensing or P4 stage, expanding P5 marketing, and P6 financial reporting," he expressed, Thursday (1/4).

He went on to say that Jakpreneurs who already have businesses would be curated to improve product quality, thus they could be marketed more widely and have legalities such as IUMK, halal certificate, distribution permit, brand rights, and PIRT (culinary sector).

He added the Dinsos facilitates development by holding periodic bazaars to encourage the marketing of Jakpreneur products. The Social Sub-agency in each region also promotes Jakpreneur products to communities, associations, and stakeholders to participate in every event.

"We also encourage MSMEs assisted by Jakpreneur in the Jakarta e-order system to help market their products. Last year, there were already 32 partners whose products were included in the system. Hopefully, next year, it will continue to increase and their products will be better known and in demand on the market," he said.
