Sidewalks on Jalan Outer Ring Road Cengkareng Timur Repaired

The assessment was given by Central Jakarta City Secretary's Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting, while inspecting those three locations, Monday (1/15).

"The result is generally quite good. It only needs minor improvement," he said.

The minor improvement, he added, construction debris is still blocking the water channel. This condition is surely will block the water during rain and cause inundation.

Some of water channel covers in the sidewalk are already broken. There is also dangled cable that needs to be cut off. It surely disturbs the pedestrian.

"We already ask the project implementer to response these conditions. Other locations will be also inspected," he said.

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Mohammad Soleh, explained that the revitalization project was done by third party since July up to November 2023 ago.

Technically, sidewalk revitalization on Jalan Yusuf Adiwinata was done on the south side along 516 meters x 3.07 meters. Revitalization on Jalan H Agus Salim on the west side along 737.20 meters x 2.83 meters.

While the revitalization on Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto was done on the west and east side. Total revitalization is along 1,019.70 meters x 2.83 meters.

"We only monitored the project and made sure it was run well," he stated.
